The Class, wall installation, used school desks and chairs, 350 x 600 x 100 cm, Careof, Milano 2004
This is a work on the variations within a system, how these modify the system, influence it, form it and how the system absorbs variations internally annulling them. Therefore, desks and chairs are aligned in rows, but each one with variations and differences from the other, each one in some way marked by whoever has occupied that place, making it a unique variation inside the system.

School desks and chairs are placed following the circular shape of the platforms for cannons. They are oriented towards the inside, as if they were attracted by a centripetal force. This is the dynamic of the relations inside the class, that particular tension between the variations (the individuals) and the system (the class).
This is a work on the variations within a system, how these modify the system, influence it, form it and how the system absorbs variations internally annulling them. Therefore, desks and chairs create a closed semicircle, tending to a central point as a gravitational force, revolving as little microcosms inside a bigger universe that incorporate them.
